What Are the Plans for WPSA?

First Year

• Design and develop a Prototype website containing selected community tools and support materials.
• Set up pilot schools and work closely with them as they participate.
• Hold first annual WPSA Festival, with WPSA Awards.
• Analyze results of the first year’s experiences, and determine how to proceed with full site build-out.
• Pursue funding for full build-out (ongoing through the year).

Beyond

• Improve and complete the support tools and resources.
• Complete the build-out of the online community features.
• Globalize WPSA: extend the community’s reach to other nations, via One Laptop Per Child.
• Conduct research on mastery of 21st Century Skills.
• Continue annual WPSA Festival and Awards.
• Distribute award-winning PSAs to outside websites and to
  broadcast TV.
• Add support tools and resources geared toward informal learners (after-school programs such as youth groups, community programs, scouting programs, and more).
