http://www.nationalhistoryday.org/

The National History Day program promotes systemic educational reform related to the teaching and learning of history in America's schools. Students produce dramatic performances, imaginative exhibits, multimedia documentaries and research papers based on research related to an annual theme. These projects are then evaluated at local, state, and national competitions. NHD will share its best practices for engaged project-based learning, contribute to development of the guides and support resources, and in the long term co-develop a WPSA module focused on history and civics.
